Parking

Some designated residential streets require neighbors to obtain a Parking Permit for their Zone.

Please keep in mind that some of these Zones have specific hours, and during off-hours, residents must still pay for parking at a meter.

Want to obtain a Residential Parking Permit?

The City Clerk’s office provides residents with Annual Residential Parking and Daily Guest Passes. For these, residents must provide a photo ID and proof of residency. You can either purchase these online or at the Office of the City Clerk.

Please note that the Residential Parking Permit is different from the City Vehicle Sticker required for all residents by the Chicago Wheel Tax. Learn more about the Vehicle Sticker on the City Clerk’s site.
