The 34th Ward is home to many fantastic parks that provide opportunities for neighbors to gather and enjoy local green spaces.

Fulton River Park – 353 N. Desplaines Street

Heritage Green – 610-30 W. Adams Street

Mary Bartelme Park – 115 S. Sangamon Street

Sheridan Park – 910 S. Aberdeen Street

 

Dog Friendly Areas in the 34th Ward

In designated ‘Dog Friendly Areas,’ dogs may be let off the leash. This is not permitted anywhere in Chicago outside of Dog Friendly Areas (even in parks adjacent to these areas). Those responsible for dogs in these areas must have the appropriate permit and tag from their Veterinarian. Learn more about DFA rules and regulations here.
